Even within our movement, conversations about AI often feel de-contextualized, polarized, and rooted in fear. We invited our membership and supporters to join us in a creative process to understand and contextualize AI in this current moment of fascism and look towards a future where communities direct technology, not corporations.

During this one-hour webinar we heard an analysis of the mainstream framing of artificial intelligence (starting with Trump’s signing of executive orders to accelerate the development of data centers in 2025). See the full slides.

We then heard from the audience, via two polls and a dozen “open mic” interventions from volunteers in the audience.
