May First uses a sliding-scale dues system based on two factors:
- Your annual income (for individuals) or operating budget (for organizations)
- The amount of storage you need

Basic Membership
$50/year
Basic membership includes:
- Full cooperative membership and voting rights
- 1 email account
- 1 Nextcloud account
- 1 XMPP/Jabber account
- 1 video conferencing account
- 10 GB total storage
Members can upgrade to a hosting plan at any time.
Hosting Plans
Hosting plans include access to all May First services, multiple accounts, and additional storage.

Income-Based Eligibility
The hosting plans available to you depend on your income range.

Individuals should use their annual personal income. Organizations should use their annual operating budget.
Members must select at least the plan corresponding to their income range, but may choose a higher plan if they need additional storage.

You may choose a higher hosting plan at any time to increase your storage allocation.
Other Usage Limits
We believe technology resources should be shared responsibly. Storage is limited according to your hosting plan, but we do not place limits on bandwidth or traffic. Members are otherwise free to create as many accounts, websites, databases, and mailing lists as needed for their own projects.
May First services are for member use and may not be resold to third parties.
Virtual Private Servers (VPS)
Hosting plan members can add one or more VPS instances to administrate their own server with root access.
Each VPS includes:
- 1 CPU core
- 1 GB RAM
- 25 GB system disk
All costs below are in addition to your existing membership dues.

Storage from your existing hosting plan can be allocated to your VPS at no additional cost.
Currency
All prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Members paying in Mexican pesos are charged using the exchange rate on the day their membership becomes due, and that rate remains fixed until payment.
